Taits Consulting is a trusted consultancy delivering improvements in safety and productivity.
We work with clients to provide simple solutions to complex problems by utilising specialised skills in workplace health and safety, change management and/or business improvement.
Led by owner and Director Alan Tait, the team uses its in-depth industry knowledge and experience to understand client challenges.
Established in Perth in 2017 to support business leaders across both mining and supply-side, we pride ourselves on our ability to communicate with all stakeholders and love collaborating with our clients to drive performance and results.
We are skilled project managers who have a track record of delivering projects on time, and to budget. We have experience bringing stakeholders on the project journey and are particularly adept communications and change agents.

Alan is an experienced mining leader with more than 25 years’ experience leading large operational and functional teams within mining, ports, and transport, and is experienced in delivering safety and productivity improvements, as well as successfully managing change across businesses.
His roles in senior management and consulting have put Alan in a leadership position to co-ordinate internal and external teams, as well as be involved in full project management, from inception to completion, and stakeholder engagement.
Working across all levels of an organisation from senior leaders to frontline workers, he has helped his clients to deliver significant safety improvements and more than A$100 million, through targeted improvement initiatives.
Alan uses his leadership skills to successfully identify and implement positive change into businesses to improve safety and productivity. His specialisation is working with clients to deliver simple solutions to complex problems to create sustainable changes.
His proficient management skills have led Alan to offering workplace health and safety, business improvement and change management services to global mining organisations.
